Welcome to Carleez Pomeranians!

My name is Carol Leemhuis and showing Pomeranians is my hobby. The main Pom and foundation stud dog here at Carleez Poms is Champion Zeke. Therefore, Carleez Poms acquired its name from my name and Zeke’s name. Car-Lee-Z, is a combination of our efforts, my effort and his genes. Many thanks go to my husband John for being the Pom sitter while I am away at dog shows and being supportive of my unique hobby.

By choice, Carleez poms remains small in number. Someday we plan to live in the country, until then I am fortunate to have good friends who help by keeping some of the dogs I own in their homes and family that are always there to keep one or two with them.

Poms are like potato chips, you can never have just one! The girls here generally retire by age five to a new home where they make a new family smile for many years. Occasionally there may be a show prospect available in my effort to remain small. Any pets available will be sold already spayed/neutered or on limited AKC registration with proof of spaying/neutering required. While both girls and boys make wonderful pets in this breed, many people seem unaware that boys make outstanding pets and are usually more devoted, more loving and have attitudes that are more willing to please.
